Care of jewellery

Proper care of your fine jewellery will ensure its long-lasting existence for many years of enjoyment.
Below are guidelines and tips for suitable cleaning of your valuable metals and gems.

· Detergent Bath: Mix warm water and a mild detergent. Use a small make-up brush to clean the piece while it is in the suds. Rinse thoroughly under running water and dry with a lint-free cloth.

· Cold Water Soak: Mix one part cold water and one part ammonia. Let the piece soak in the mixture for 30 minutes. Remove and gently tap the mounting, then place the piece back into the cup and slightly swirl it around. Drain and dry the piece on tissue paper.

· Ultrasonic Cleaner: The German machine cleans jewelry by stimulating a high-frequency ultrasonic wave to a water and detergent mixture. Service available in our goldsmith's atelier.
